1. Scope
This refund and cancellation policy outlines how you can cancel or seek a refund for a service that you have purchased through the Platform (thegynaepsych.com).
TheGynaePsych is a digital health consultation platform. All services offered — Smart Consultations and Live Video Consultations — are delivered electronically. There are no physical products, no shipping, and no deliveries involved.
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations will only be considered if the request is made within 7 days of placing the order / making payment, provided the service has not yet been delivered or initiated.
Cancellation requests may not be entertained if the doctor has already initiated the process of reviewing and preparing a response. In such an event, the consultation will be completed and delivered.
TheGynaePsych does not deal in any perishable or physical items. All services are digital in nature.
3. Smart Consultation — Refund Policy
A Smart Consultation involves you submitting detailed health information, followed by a written review from Dr. Neha Sain or Mrs. Richa Kohli, typically delivered within 48 hours.
- Before response is sent (within 7 days of purchase): If you request a refund within 7 days of purchase and the doctor has not yet sent a response, you are entitled to a full refund.
- After response is sent:Once the doctor's written response has been delivered, the consultation is considered complete and no refund will be issued.
- Concerns about quality: If you feel the response is not as described or does not meet reasonable expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 7 days of receiving the response. The customer service team, after looking into your complaint, will take an appropriate decision.
4. Live Consultation — Cancellation & Refund Policy
Live Video Consultations are scheduled in advance with Dr. Neha Sain or Mrs. Richa Kohli.
- Cancellation ≥ 24 hours before appointment: Full refund or free rescheduling to a different slot, at your choice.
- Cancellation < 24 hours before appointment: No refund is applicable. A one-time rescheduling (within 7 days) may be offered at our discretion.
- No-show: If you fail to join the session at the scheduled time without prior notice, the consultation fee is forfeited.
- Doctor unavailability: In the rare event that the doctor is unable to attend, you will receive a full refund or free rescheduling — your choice.
5. Manufacturer Warranty
In case of complaints regarding products or services that come with a warranty from the manufacturers or service providers, please refer the issue to them directly. As TheGynaePsych provides only digital health consultation services, this clause is not applicable to our core services, but may apply to any third-party tools or software recommended through the Platform.
7. Courses & Digital Resources
Digital courses, e-books, and downloadable resources are non-refundable once accessed or downloaded, as the content is delivered immediately upon purchase.
8. No Physical Returns or Shipments
TheGynaePsych does not ship or deliver any physical goods. All services and content are delivered electronically via our website, email, or video call. No shipping charges are applicable and there are no physical returns or exchanges.
9. How to Request a Refund

Please include your registered email address, order / transaction ID, and the reason for the refund request. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.
10. Refund Processing
In case of any refunds approved by TheGynaePsych, it will take 5 business days for the refund to be processed to the original payment method (UPI / card / net banking). The exact credit timeline may additionally depend on your bank or payment provider.
Refunds are not issued in cash. If the original payment method is no longer active, please contact us and we will arrange an alternative.
11. Disputes
If you are dissatisfied with a refund decision, you may escalate to our Grievance Officer at support@thegynaepsych.com. We are committed to resolving all disputes fairly and in accordance with applicable Indian consumer protection laws.
